the decision is made

so my job hunt has finally come to an end. being accepted by both MOH and CID has been very humbling and i know i am very fortunate to have gotten them. but after much consideration about my future and my dreams, i decided to join MOH. those who know about my passion for forensics might be shocked at my rejection of the dream job i saw myself doing since school days. it was certainly with a heavy heart that i turned down the job, i felt like i'd given up part of my dreams. yes, being a forensics officer has always been my dream when i was studying but i suppose that passion has slowly dwindled over the years. real life has taught me real lessons and dreams change.
the job hunt has certainly been a very humbling yet empowering experience. the process came with alot of praying and discerning as well as discussions with loved ones. i went from taking the big leap of faith and left my job to be unemployed. it was the right push i needed to really put myself out there and try different things. after treading through the private sector, it dawned on me that maybe that is not where my future is. i mean, there is more to life than helping a corporation earn big bucks. so i switched focus and started getting calls.
this experience has made me realise and value the people who've come into my life.

and so here's to the next step.
